Responsibilities
Join our HR team as a Senior HR Operations Specialist (all genders) and act as a key advisor for managers and employees across Germany and EMEA. You'll manage HR processes, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with labor laws and maintaining HR data integrity. Collaborate with HR departments, lead projects, and drive process improvements.
Act as a knowledgeable and service-oriented point of contact for managers, employees, and HR Operations Specialists regarding all HR-related matters (Germany and EMEA) and company-specific HR processes and standards (globally)
Organize the administrative handling of employee onboarding and offboarding processes (employment contracts, warnings, terminations, and separation agreements) as well as all documentation throughout the employee lifecycle (maternity leave, parental leave, contract amendments)
Independently review and sign documents and agreements within the scope of your authority as granted
Ensure HR data accuracy across global locations through regular checks and feedback rounds, and prepare both recurring and ad-hoc reports for various departments
Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and HR-related data for internal and external reporting
Collaborate closely with other HR departments, including Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Training
Take ownership of HR projects and lead the continuous improvement of internal departmental processes
Requirements
A completed degree in fields such as Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in HR, ideally in a generalist HR role or as a senior professional in HR administration
Solid knowledge of German labor and social security laws, as well as a good understanding of legal requirements in EMEA
Proficiency in HR software, ideally SAP HCM
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
A solution-oriented approach and a high degree of self-initiative
Confidence in taking responsibility and ownership
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive data
Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization
